An apache maiden lost in thought. Yet another homage by Escalera to the Native American Indian. Beautiful and “contemplative”. Sad? Happy? The viewer will never truly know what was going on within the mind of the artist. One thing we do know however is that he masterfully captured a moment and we, as the viewers, can conjecture on what is on her mind.
